Sandy Ford Jct., also known as my "I don't have room for a layout layout," is an HO modular layout with staging. It was built to allow me to test my modeling skills and to enjoy a switching layout while I wait for the stock market and retirement to allow more time for my train room to be built. The 30" x 6' module is in my home office and takes up as much space as can be spared. The staging runs behind furniture taking up virtually no room while making operations possible. The whole layout is 40" above the floor, allowing for file cabinets and storage underneath.
